电视动画《THE UNLIMITED-兵部京介-》以椎名高志所绘制的漫画《楚楚可怜超能少女组》为原作，将其中超能力犯罪组织潘朵拉的首领兵部京介、加上新角色安迪日宫作为主角，演出与 2008 年时第一部《楚楚可怜超能少女组》中明亮气氛完全相反，描写那个充满超能力者的世界上，属於阴影部分的故事。兵部京介，在第一部《楚楚可怜超能少女组》中，与主角们所属的组织巴贝尔敌对，让身为指挥官的皆本光一头疼不以。超能力者们因为超能力而受到差别待遇，为了改变这种情况，兵部京介想要发起革命，因此被称作是“史上最凶恶的超能力犯罪者”。

「周刊少年SUNDAY」上连载的椎名高志原作漫画作品『绝对可怜小孩』的中学生篇决定将推出OVA系列作品。 　　『绝对可怜小孩』讲述的是拥有世界顶级超能力的明石薰、野上葵、三宫紫穗与上司兼教练的皆本光一共同完成各种危险任务的动作漫画。该作品的小学生篇的TV动画系列是于2008年4月到2009年3月由东京电视台放送的。至于此次中学生篇的OVA作品，是否将以漫画附属的OAD形式推出，敬请关注有关该作品的后续报道。
